Michael was born in Germany (his dad was in the Army) and raised in North Carolina. He grew up in a Christian home, where the gospel was taught daily. Relatively early in life God saved him and has been working in his life through the years. After initially fighting God’s call to ministry, he eventually surrendered. He now has a B.S. in Religion through Liberty University and is now working (very slowly!) on a MAT (Master of Applied Theology) in Church Revitalization.He and his wife Rachel were married in 2009 and have three kids, Hannah (13), Nathan (7), and Daniel (5). In his spare time, what little there is, he enjoys sports and reading a good book.
The Snyder family officially started their ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in March 2025. They are looking forward to ministering to and becoming part of the Danville community.
